The Securities and Exchange Board of India vide its notification dated 29th January 2021, in order to bring transparency in reporting of segregated portfolio, it has decided to modify the monthly cumulative reporting format from January 2021 onwards.
Under the modified monthly cumulative report, AMCs will have to disclose about the number of segregated portfolios created as well as net assets under management in such segregated portfolios.
Further, the mutual fund shall disclose the number of schemes in each segment and shall submit information pertaining to the number of folios, funds mobilized, repurchase or redemption, net inflow or outflow, net as well as average net asset under management.
