The Department of Food and Public Distribution vide Notification dated the 17th December, 2020 has amended the notification number S.O. 371(E), dated the 8th February, 2017, which provided the requirement for Aadhaar Authentication to receive the subsidized food grains or cash transfer of food subsidy under NFSA.
