The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India vide its notification dated 2nd December 2020 has directed all insurers to file report on misconduct of licensed surveyors annually and maintain half yearly data in the prescribed format provided in this notification.
The format for filing annual report has been provided under this notification in which the details of Misconduct of licensed surveyors and action taken by Insurer shall be mentioned and the report on survey of jobs for the half yearly shall contain the details with regard to line of business and the number of claims reported and the number of surveys undertaken by inhouse employees.
