The Government of Goa vide gazette notification dated 01.12.2020 has introduced a “One Time Settlement Scheme 2020” under Electricity Department for defaulting consumers of electricity charges. The scheme will be applicable to all the categories of consumers whose installations are Temporarily Disconnected/ Permanently Disconnected as on 10-10-2020 for non-payment of outstanding arrears and for Revenue Recovery cases filed up to 10-10-2020.
The validity for applying for the scheme is one month from the date of notification and the consumer can avail any one of the options of repayment under the scheme to rectify the default.
