State Government of Haryana has issued order regarding maintenance of records in electronic form under various labour laws.

The Labour Department of Haryana vide its order dated 23rd October 2020 has approved maintenance of records in electronic form under various labour laws and rules framed thereunder.

The state government has taken up a series of measures to improve ‘Ease of Doing Business’. The emphasis has been on simplification and rationalization of the existing rules and introduction of information technology to make governance more efficient and effective. In furtherance of section 4 read with section 81 of Information Technology Act, 2000 and in compliance of Business Action Plans (BRAP) 2020 of the Department of Promotion of Industries & Internal Trade, the  Government of Haryana has approved maintaining records in electronic form under various Labour Laws.
