The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare vide its notification dated 20th October 2020 has notified the Drugs and Cosmetics (Draft Amendment) Rules, 2020, inviting Objections and suggestions from public within the period of 30 days from the date on which the copies of the Gazette of India containing these draft rules are made available to public (i.e. 20th October 2020)
Through this amendment, the drug “Tapentadol” has been listed under schedule H under Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940.
