The Transport, Roads and Buildings Department of Andhra Pradesh vide notification dated October 21, 2020 has directed to compound certain offences under Motor Vehicle Act, 1988, and has also prescribed the rate of compounding fee. The officers not bellow rank of Sub-inspector are directed to compound offences like driving without license, helmet, seatbelt, using of handheld communications while driving, over speeding etc. in the prescribed rates of compounding fee.
