The Health Department of Government of Odisha has published an eligibility criteria for Covid survivors to donate Plasma for treatment of Covid. The eligibility criteria includes:
- YOU CAN DONATE PLASMA IF:
- Your Age is between 18-65 years.
- Your Weight is 50kgs or above.
- You have a prior diagnosis of COVID-19 (as documented by a diagnostic test)
- You have recovered from Covid-19 disease with complete resolution of symptoms at least 28 days before donation
- YOU CANNOT DONATE PLASMA IF:
- You have ever been pregnant (for women)
- You have uncontrolled diabetes or hypertension with change in medication in last 28 days
- You are a cancer survivor
- You have Chronic kidney/heart/lung/liver disease.
The consent form to be mandatorily signed by donors is also provided.
