The Department of Labour of Punjab vide its notification dated 14th October 2020 has declared 3rd November 2020 as a paid holiday within the revenue jurisdictions of the districts adjoining the areas of Haryana state.
Therefore the government has fixed 3rd November 2020, Tuesday to be a ‘closed day’ for the employees who are voters of Haryana working in Factories in the districts adjoining to the State of Punjab. However, 3rd November 2020 (Monday) shall not be a ‘closed day’ in lieu of weekly off falling between 1st November 2020 and 7th November 2020 on account of Bye-election to 33-Baroda Assembly Constituency, 2020 in the state of Haryana.
