The Maharashtra Pollution Control Board vide its circular dated 24th August 2020 has granted that the stakeholders shall obtain the Authorisation/ Registration under the provision of the respective environmental rules from the competent authority.
However, the Maharashtra Right to Public Services Act, 2015 has mandated that the details of public services, stipulated time limit for such Public Services, Application & formats, fee for public service, designated officer, First and Second Appellate Authorities for such services shall be published by MPCB, on notice, Board, website or web portal.
The details of procedure regarding submission of category-wise online application are hoisted on the website in the Plastic waste section and the stipulated time period for delivering the public service shall be within 90days from receipt of application complete in all respect and the fee for such service shall be Rs.500/-
Further the detailed procedure regarding submission of online application under EWaste Management Rules, 2016 shall be obtained within 120days from receipt of application complete in all respect.
The procedure regarding the submission of online application under Hazardous and Other Waste (Management & Transboundary Movement) Rules, shall be obtained within 120days.
