The Director-General of Foreign Trade in its notification dated 11th August 2020 has amended the import policy of certain organic chemicals which falls under schedule-I , chapter 29, 38 and 39 of ITC(HS), 2017.
The Importer of chemicals like Dichlorodifluoromethane, Chlorotrifluoromethane, Carbon tetrachloride (CCl4 – Tetrachloromethane) shall for each import consignment, submit a copy of the Bill of Entry within 30 days to the Ozone Cell, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, New Delhi.
Further Import of pre-blended polyol containing Group VI substances, including HCFC-141b, is not permitted as per Ozone Depleting Substances (Regulation and Control) Amendment Rules, 2014.
