The Principal Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, Labour Department vide its notification dated 1st June 2020 has revised the minimum rate of wages payable to the employees working under 29 Schedule Employments with effect from 1st April 2020.
The Minimum Wage and Variable Dearness Allowance for unskilled labours shall be Rs.314 and Rs.356 for Semi-skilled, Rs. 398 for Skilled and Rs. 439 for Highly-skilled are the new wage rate.
