The Maharashtra Pollution Control Board in its notification dated 2nd June 2020 has prepared a format for submission of online application for NOC for the destruction of rejected and confiscated goods by the Customs Department/Police Department or any other Department.
Earlier the applications for grant of NOC for destruction Confiscated goods where being received in hard copies either at the HQ or at the field offices. After receipt of the applications, the same was processed and after verification of the requisite documents, NOCs are being issued to the Concerned Department or agency from RO(HQ) section after approval of the Member Secretary of the Board.
However, the board has now decided to implement the process online.
