The Labour and Employment Department of Government of Tamil Nadu has proposed draft amendment in Tamil Nadu Factories Rules in a notification published in Tamil Nadu Government Gazette dated June 26, 2019.
The amendment seeks to increase the amount of fee for Amendment of licence, Transfer of licence and Loss of licence. At present, fees for Amendment, transfer and Loss of licence is Rupees 50 and the same is proposed to be increased to Rupees 200.
The draft amendments will be taken into consideration on or after the expiry of forty-five days from the date of publication of this notification in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette. Within the said period of forty-five days, any objection or suggestion may be made to Government of Tamil Nadu.
