Electric Mobility Promotion Scheme (EMPS) 2024 notified vide Gazette Notification 1334 (E) dated 13.03.2024 was launched with an aim to provide further impetus to the green mobility and development of electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing eco-system in the country. The scheme has since been subsumed in the PM Electric Drive Revolution in Innovative Vehicle Enhancement (PM E-DRIVE) Scheme which was notified vide Gazette Notification dated 29.09.2024.
