Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS)
With the approval of the Union Cabinet, three new national-level cooperative societies have been set up: National Cooperative Exports Limited (NCEL), National Cooperative Organics Limited (NCOL), and Bharatiya Beej Sahkari Samiti Limited (BBSSL). These initiatives aim to uplift cooperatives by fostering a global reach, promoting organic farming, and enhancing seed production—all crucial elements for a thriving agricultural sector.
Measures taken to prevent misuse of AB-PMJAY Scheme
To eliminate ineligible beneficiaries from the scheme, AB-PMJAY beneficiaries are verified through Aadhaar e-KYC at the time of creation of the card. Further, beneficiaries have to undergo Aadhaar authentication at the time of availing services. Aadhaar-authentication helps establish the identity of the eligible beneficiary.

Yuva Sahakar Scheme
The aim of the scheme is to encourage newly formed cooperative societies with new and/or innovative ideas. The scheme encourages young entrepreneur Cooperative Societies which are in operation for a minimum of 3 months The Scheme is being promoted in all the States through promotional programmes and trainings conducted by 19 Regional Offices and Regional Training Centers of NCDC.
