Taxonomy for Green Steel for India
“Green Steel” shall be defined in terms of percentage greenness of the steel which is produced from the steel plant with CO2 equivalent emission intensity less than 2.2 tonnes of CO2e per tonne of finished steel (tfs). The greenness of the steel shall be expressed as a percentage, based on how much the steel plant’s emission intensity is lower compared to the 2.2 t-CO2e/tfs threshold.

Favorable weather conditions and recent rainfall have led to a significant improvement in Delhi’s AQI. Based on these improvements, CAQM has revoked Stage III actions under the revised GRAP for Delhi. Punjab Issues Clarification on Environmental Clearance for In-House Glue Manufacturing in Plywood Units
Plywood units that produce their own Phenol Formaldehyde and Melamine Formaldehyde resins are subject to the EIA Notification and require prior EC. Plywood units that purchase ready-made Phenol Formaldehyde and Melamine Formaldehyde resins from external suppliers are exempt from obtaining EC under the EIA Notification.
Pharmacy Council Blacklists Pharmacists for Fake Profiles on DIGI-PHARMed Portal
The Pharmacy Council has taken strict action against registered pharmacists found to have created fake or misleading profiles on the DIGI-PHARMed Portal. Following an analysis of profile data, the Council discovered several discrepancies, leading to the blacklisting of numerous individuals. This circular was issued December 27, 2024.
