International Financial Services Centres Authority (Registration of Insurance Business) Regulations, 2021
These Regulations aim to put in place the process of registration and operations of insurer and Re-insurer in an International Financial Services Centre under regulatory purview of The International Financial Services Centres Authority Act, 2019.
CBDT launches Compliance-Cum-Awareness Campaign for AY 2024-25
As part of this campaign, informational messages will be sent via SMS and email to resident taxpayers who have already submitted their ITR for AY 2024-25. These messages are intended for individuals identified through information received under bilateral and multilateral agreements, suggesting that they may hold foreign accounts or assets, or have received income from foreign jurisdictions.
CBDT extends income tax exemption to ‘Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board’
This notification shall be effective from the assessment year 2024-25, subject to the condition that the assessee continues to be a board constituted under the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board Act, 2006.
DGFT allows exports under schemes of gold/silver/platinum jewelry through Amritsar airport
The amendment provides that exports under schemes of gold/silver/platinum jewellery and articles thereof shall be allowed by airfreight and Foreign Post Office through the Customs House at Amritsar airport.
