This certification will be granted based on the performance of these samplers in tests conducted for specific parameters. The pass/fail criteria for these parameters will be determined based on the CPCB guideline no. 102946/2023/AQMN-HO.
CPCB Warns Against Plastic Rule Violations in Tender Documents
The CPCB has urged State Pollution Control Boards (SPCBs) to ensure compliance with the Plastic Waste Management Rules in tender documents issued by government bodies under their jurisdiction. The CPCB has requested SPCBs to conduct regular checks to ensure certified compostable plastic manufacturers comply with the conditions of their certificates. These conditions include mandatory labeling of products with “COMPOSTABLE IS/ISO 17088 Certified” and a QR code linking to manufacturer details and certificate information.
CDSCO Publishes Not Of Standard Quality And Spurious Alert For September 2024
The NSQ drug list specifies a total of 18 drugs that were detected to be deficient by State Lab Drugs Control Laboratories. All of these 18 drugs were declared to be not of standard quality. The NSQ drug list for central CDSCO laboratories specifies a total of 49 drugs that were detected to be deficient. Additionally, CDSCO has also identified 4 drugs to be spurious.
FSSAI Revises Limits On Antimicrobials, Crop Contaminants and Naturally Occurring Toxic Substances
The new amendment regulations prescribe revised limits to crop contaminants and naturally occurring toxic substances in wheat, wheat bran, rye and barley. The amendment notification also prescribed a list of 14 antimicrobials and other drugs as prohibited for use in the production of meat, meat products, milk, milk products, poultry, eggs, and aquaculture.
