CBDT relaxes deadline for filing audit report in Form 10B for those trusts/institutions/funds, responsible to furnish
On consideration of the matter, with a view to avoid genuine hardship to those trusts/institutions/funds, CBDT has allowed such trusts/institutions/funds to furnish such audit report in the applicable Form No. 10B/10BB on or before 10 November, 2024.

Delhi Breathes Uneasy As Air Quality Crisis Triggers Emergency Measures
Officials reviewed weather forecasts and air quality predictions, which indicate the “Very Poor” air quality is likely to persist for several days due to unfavorable meteorological conditions. Consequently, the Sub-Committee decided to invoke Stage-II of the revised GRAP for the entire National Capital Region (NCR). Effective October 22, 2024, a stricter set of regulations will be implemented across the NCR in addition to existing Stage-I measures.
Government Launches New Solar Power Scheme for Tribal and PVTG Communities
The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has issued an order on the financial outlay and funds for the implementation of the new solar power scheme specifically designed for Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTG) habitations and villages. The government has approved a total financial outlay of Rs. 915 crore for the scheme. The funds will be allocated from the Department of Alternative and New Energy (DAPST) of the MNRE.
