INC Extends Deadline For Compliance Reports
The Indian Nursing Council (INC) has extended the deadline for institutions to submit compliance reports for the academic year 2024-25. The last date for uploading reports has been extended to October 15, 2024.
PCI Re-iterates Postponement of Diploma in Pharmacy Exit Examination 2024
This decision was taken due to ongoing discussions within the Health Ministry regarding a proposed change in the scheme by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). Once the Ministry approves the changes, further steps will be taken. Candidates who graduated in 2023-2024 will be registered as pharmacists until they successfully pass the Exit Examination.
Process For Application For New Postgraduate Medical Qualifications
Medical colleges and institutes can apply if they want to offer a postgraduate medical qualification not currently listed in Annexures of the Post Graduate Medical Education Regulations-2023. Medical colleges and institutes desiring to start a new M.D./M.S., D.M./M.Ch., PDF, PDCC or 6 YEAR D.M./M.Ch. qualification can seek guidance from the Post Graduate Medical Education Board (PGMEB) before submitting their formal application.
Companies (Indian Accounting Standards) Third Amendment Rules, 2024
The amendment provides that an insurer or insurance company may provide its financial statement as per Ind AS 104 for the purposes of consolidated financial statements by its parent or investor or venturer till the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority notifies the Ind AS 117 and for this purpose.
