IFSCA Consultation Paper on Complaint Handling and Grievance Redressal

It is proposed that the Regulated Entity shall file reports on handling of complaints in the form and manner specified by the Authority from time to time. The Regulated Entity shall have a section with heading “Complaint Handling and Grievance Redressal” in its Annual Report, if required to file under the relevant laws. The section shall also provide data of all complaints received, resolved, rejected and pending during the year in a tabular/ graphical format.

CPCB Releases Environmental Compensation Guidelines for Waste Tyre EPR Regime

These guidelines, developed through extensive consultations with producer and recycler associations, aim to address the environmental impact of waste tyres and ensure that producers take responsibility for their end-of-life management. The guidelines will be applicable to entities involved in manufacture, sale, transfer, purchase, recycling and retreading of Waste Tyre or Tyre as defined in the Hazardous and Other Waste (Management & Transboundary Movement) Amendments Rules, 2022.

Pharmacy Council of India Extends Approval and Appeal Deadline for Academic Year 2024-25

The Supreme Court granted an extension for the completion of the approval process until October 31, 2024, and for appeals or compliance processes until November 30, 2024. PCI has clarified that all admission-making authorities, state governments, and other relevant bodies are requested to allot admissions to various pharmacy courses approved by the PCI until November 30, 2024 for the academic year 2024-2025.

Pharmacy Institutions To Celebrate 4th National Pharmacovigilance Week 2024

The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) has issued a circular requesting all pharmacy institutions to celebrate the 4th National Pharmacovigilance Week from September 17th to 23rd, 2024. All pharmacy institutions are encouraged to participate in the event by creating informational materials such as posters, banners, and pamphlets.
