Extension Granted for Red Sanders Wood Export from Odisha

The Central Government has extended the time period for the Forest, Environment & Climate Change Department, Government of Odisha, to finalize modalities for the export of Red Sanders Heart Wood in log form. This extension grants Odisha an additional 12 months from the date of notification to complete the export process.

Central Government Authorizes Direct Sales of Fermented Organic Manure

The Central Government has authorized 21 manufacturers to sell fermented organic manure and liquid fermented organic manure in bulk directly to farmers. The authorization, granted under the Fertilizer (Inorganic, Organic or Mixed) (Control) Order, 1985, allows these manufacturers to sell their products in bulk directly to farmers for a period of three years.

Proposed Changes to National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions Rules

The amendment rules propose that applications for registration be submitted to the concerned State Council, except in cases where no State Council exists. The draft rules also propose to revise the registration certificate (Form C). Additionally, the proposed amendments broaden the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions’ (NCAH&P) responsibilities.

Draft Bureau Of Energy Efficiency Ceiling Type Fans Amendment Regulations 2024

The new proposed labels for electric ceiling fans will now include additional information on electricity savings per year (kWh) and CO2 emission reduction per year (KgCO2). The draft amendment regulations also propose to revise the dimensions of the labels on packaging and ceiling motor fan, colour scheme and specific details to be displayed.

Access Providers blacklist 50 entities for spamming on direction of TRAI

Consequent of these directions, Access Providers have taken stern measures against misuse of telecom resources for spamming and blacklisted over 50 entities and disconnected more than 2.75 lakh SIP DID/Mobile Numbers/Telecom resources. TRAI urges all stakeholders to comply with the directives and contribute to a cleaner and more efficient telecom ecosystem.

By enabling pensioners to receive their pensions from any bank, any branch, anywhere in the country, this initiative addresses the long-standing challenges faced by pensioners and ensures a seamless and efficient disbursement mechanism. The CPPS would also ensure disbursement of pension throughout India without any need for transfer of Pension Payment Orders (PPO) from one office to another even when the Pensioner moves from one location to another or changes his bank or branch.
