India Updates Its Rice Export Policy

The Central Government has introduced a temporary ban on the export of De-oiled Rice Bran (DRB) until January 31, 2025. . Additionally, India has also decided to permit export of Non-Basmati White Rice to Malaysia. These amendments mark a significant shift in India’s rice export strategy. Draft Rules For Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Of Non-Ferrous Metals

Manufacturers, producers, collection agents, refurbishers, and recyclers of non-ferrous metals must register with the CPCB. The CPCB will generate EPR certificates for registered recyclers, acknowledging their contribution to recycling efforts. The validity of the extended producer responsibility certificate shall be two years from the end of the financial year in which it was generated.

Restrictions on Naproxen IP In Fixed Dose Combinations

The Central Government has restricted the manufacture, sale, and distribution of two fixed dose combinations (FDCs) containing Naproxen and either Esomeprazole Magnesium Trihydrate or Pantoprazole. The sale of these FDCs will be permitted only subject to specified conditions.
