Haryana Government’s New GST Amendment

The Government of West Bengal on 16th July 2024, revised the minimum wages of various scheduled employment.

The following are the key points:

The minimum rates of wages for the employees employed in 30 (thirty) Scheduled Employments in the state of West Bengal shall be effective in the period from 1st July 2024 to 31st December 2024.

Haryana Government Issues New GST Amendment

The Government of Haryana on July 15th 2024, amended an older notification No.36/ST-2, dated June 30th ,2017, related to agricultural farm produce. This update changes how agricultural produce is treated under GST, particularly focusing on how large quantities are packaged and labelled.
A new additional statement has been added to clarify the rules. The new proviso states that if you’re supplying agricultural produce in packages larger than 25 kilograms or 25 liters, these packages won’t be considered “pre-packaged and labelled” under the GST rules.

Government Of Bihar Issues New GST Notification

he Government of Bihar on 15th July 2024 amended an older notification No.2/2017-State Tax (Rate), dated 29th June ,2017 that affects how agricultural produce is packaged and taxed under the Goods and Services Tax (GST).
The new amendment specifically targets the packaging of agricultural produce. If agricultural produce is packaged in quantities greater than 25 kilograms or 25 litres , it will not be considered as PRE-PACKAGED and LABELLED under GST rules.

Discontinuation Of Atal Amrit Abhiyan By Government Of Assam

The Government of Assam on July 8th 2024, notified regarding the discontinuation of Atal Amrit Abhiyan in the state with effect from October 31st, 2023.

Government of Delhi Notifies Important Guidelines for Driving Schools and Establishments

The Government of Delhi on June 26th, 2024, notified regarding the Guidelines for Driving Schools and Establishments.

These guidelines have been released for driving schools in the national capital that make it mandatory for all such schools to maintain an electronic register, Aadhar-based identity of trainees and have adequate provision for conducting lectures and demonstrations of models.
