Rajasthan Finance Department Notifies New Stamp (Amendment) Rules 2024

The finance department of Rajasthan on July 10th ,2024, issued the Rajasthan Stamp (Amendment) Rules 2024, to further amend the Rajasthan Stamp Rules 2004. The new rile states
Full Disclosure: Any document subject to stamp duty must truthfully disclose all relevant facts affecting how much duty should be paid.

  Property Valuation: When valuing immovable properties, we consider the separate values of the land itself and any buildings on it, using their respective market rates.

Role of Registering Officer: The officer in charge of registering documents can check the accuracy of property details mentioned in the document. They may inspect the property or send someone else to do so.

 Government Inspections: The State Government can authorize officials or others to inspect properties to verify their details for stamp duty purposes. They can specify how inspections are done, including using electronic devices.

Standard Information Form: The Government can require a standard form to be filled out with specific details about the property. When filled out correctly, this form becomes part of the official document.

Rajasthan Finance Department Issues New Registration (Amendment) Rules 2024

The Finance Department of Rajasthan on July 10 , 2024, issued the Rajasthan (Amendment) Rules, 2024 to further amend the Rajasthan Registration Rules, 1955. As per the new rules – Rajasthan Registration (Amendment) Rules 2024

Rule 181 says that, when a court or authority orders the cancellation or correction of a registered document, they send a copy of the order to the registering office where it was originally registered. The registering officer then makes a note on the document itself, stating who issued the order, the date, and details of the parties involved. They also update their records to reflect these changes in the registration index.

Revised Minimum Wages to Employees/Workers in Assam

The Government of Assam, Labour Welfare Department issued a notification on 10th July 2024, regarding the revised rates of VDA (Variable Dearness Allowance) and the Wages per month payable to employees in the following categories of employments which include, Employment in Bakery, Breweries and Distillery, Black Smith, Biscuit Manufacturing, Film (Production, Distribution and Exhibition) Industry, Canteen & Clubbing, Cooperative consumer societies, Petrol Pump workers, Private Hospital workers and much more.

Important Provisions Of ESI Coming into Force in Manipur
