New Amendments To General Grading and Marking Rules
The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare has notified the General Grading and Marking (Amendment) Rules, 2024, to strengthen enforcement mechanisms for agricultural produce quality standards. The amendment rules were published on July 5, 2024.
Improved Accessibility Standards For Higher Education Institutions and Universities
The new rules incorporate accessibility guidelines and standards previously notified by the Department of Higher Education, into the existing Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPWD) Rules, 2017. These standards aim to achieve accessibility and inclusion in higher education institutions and universities.
