Financial Accountability: Telangana Addresses Loan Issues and CAG Findings

Regarding the National Cooperative Development Corporation’s loan issue, it was clarified that loans were withheld due to various reasons, including objections raised by the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG). The CM also questioned delays in distributing sheep to beneficiaries who had paid partial amounts.

Curriculum and credit Framework for Undergraduate programmes

Students who have already enrolled and are pursuing UG programme as per Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) are eligible to pursue 4-year undergraduate programme and the university concerned may provide bridge courses (including online courses) to enable them for transition to 4-year UG programme.

Clarification regarding the refund of fees

UGC has requested all the HEls vide mails and reminders to act on the complaints received from the students seeking a refund of fees paid to the Institutes after those students migrated to other Institutions.

DCGI Cancels Upcoming Meetings with Stakeholders

The Central Drug Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) has issued a public notice notifying the cancellation of stakeholder meetings with the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI). The CDSCO has stated that due to exigency of work and other official commitments, the meetings dated 7th, 12th and 14th March, 2024 stand cancelled.
