MCA deploys Change Request Form (CRF) on MCA-21
This web- based Form is to be used only under exceptional circumstances, for making a request to Registrar of Companies (RoCs), for the purposes which cannot be catered through any existing form or services or functionality available either at Front Office level (users of MCA-21 services) or Back Office level (RoCs). The Form should be processed by RoCs within 03 days of its filing, after which it should be forwarded to Joint Director (e-governance cell), who shall process and decide the matter within a maximum time of 07 days.
Companies (Registration Offices and Fees) Amendment Rules, 2024
The Registrar of the Central Processing Center shall examine or cause to be examined every application or e-Form or document required or authorized to be filed or delivered as provided under sub-rule (3), for approval, registration or taking on record by the Registrar.

RBI declares that Card Network that enables businesses to make card payments through certain intermediaries to entities that do not accept card payments qualifies as payment system
Under this arrangement, the intermediary accepts card payments from corporates for their commercial payments and then remits the funds via IMPS/RTGS/NEFT to non-card accepting recipients. On closer scrutiny, it was observed that this arrangement qualified as a payment system. Under the provisions of Payment and Settlement Systems (PSS) Act, 2007, such payment system requires authorization under Section 4 of PSS Act, which has not been obtained in the instant case. The activity was, therefore, without legal sanction.

Revised Variable Dearness Allowance Rates for Workmen Employed by Contractors in Assam
The notification issued by Labour Commissioner of Assam updates on the revision of Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) rates for workmen employed through contractors in Assam, based on the increase in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from July 2023 to December 2023.
