Telangana State Aviation Academy entered into an MoU with NRSC
Telangana State Aviation Academy entered into an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC) to provide advanced training for Drone Pilots. The NRSC is one of the primary centers of ISRO – Indian Space Research Organization. Telangana Aviation Academy CEO and NRSC Director signed the agreement in the presence of Chief Minister of Telangana. A 15-day tailored program on data analysis, processing, and mapping will be held for NRSC scientists and drone operators at the TSAA.

The Tamil Nadu Forest department launched its ambitious Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning enabled surveillance system to prevent death of elephants on railway tracks on 9th february2024. The project was launched-by the Minister for Forest in the presence of Additional Chief Secretary to the Government, Department of Environment, Climate Change and Forest Department. Principal Chief Conservator of Forests & Chief Wildlife Warden on 09.02.2024 at Coimbatore District.

The erstwhile APERC (Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission) of the undivided Andhra Pradesh State notified the Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (Terms and Conditions for Determination of Tariff for Wheeling and Retail Sale of Electricity) Regulation, 2005 (Regulation 4 of 2005) (hereinafter referred to as “the Principal Regulation”) which was published in the AP Extraordinary Gazette on 14.11.2005. The first amendment to the Principal Regulation was notified in the AP Extraordinary Gazette on 07.03.2014 (Regulation 1 of 2014) by the erstwhile APERC.
IBBI clarification regarding Sharing of the Report prepared by the Resolution Professional to both debtor and creditor
Therefore, it is advised that the RP shall provide a copy of the report to both debtor and creditor in all cases. This will ensure that the debtor and the creditor are well-informed about the evaluation and recommendations made by the RP, thereby promoting transparency and informed decision-making.
The Jammu And Kashmir Local Bodies Laws (Amendment) Bill,2024
This Act may be called the Jammu and Kashmir Local Bodies Laws (Amendment) Act, 2024. It shall come into force on such date as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint. Throughout the Act, for the words “District Planning and Development Board” and “District Panchayat Officer” wherever they occur, the words “the District Development Council” and “Assistant Commissioner of Panchayat” shall respectively be substituted.’
IBBI clarification regarding Reporting / Sharing of information in the Voluntary Liquidation process
It is directed that the liquidator shall submit a copy of Form H and the final report filed before the Adjudicating Authority as per Regulation 38, and the order for dissolution to the Board to the email ID: liqvol@ibbi.gov.in.
IBBI clarification regarding deposit and withdrawal of unclaimed dividends and / or undistributed proceeds
It is clarified that to facilitate the request received from a stakeholder, under regulation 39(7), who claims to be entitled to any amount deposited into the Corporate Voluntary Liquidation Account for withdrawal before the dissolution of the corporate person, the liquidator shall apply to the Board for the release of the amount for onward distribution to the stakeholders.
