Hungary will have first Indian University Soon
Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Hungarian National Assembly and Vice Chairman met Maharashtra Governor at Raj Bhavan Mumbai on (11 Jan). Speaking on the occasion Committee Chairman expressed the need to establish cooperation between universities in Maharashtra and Hungary. Stating that higher education, especially medical science is an important area of cooperation, he expressed the hope that Hungary will have an Indian University.
Government has issued orders to set up a Rescue Treatment and Rehabilitation Centre in Coimbatore Forest Division
The Government of Tamil Nadu has issued orders to set up a Rescue Treatment and Rehabilitation Centre at Pethikuttai in Coimbatore Forest Division at a cost of Rs.19.50 crores. The center will watch on the Rescue of injured, orphaned and sick wild animals, provide expertise for scientific quarantine, rehabilitation and release of wild animals in identified habitats, function as a leading institution for consultation and guidance for addressing human animal conflict issues and develop and standardize protocols for rescue and rehabilitation of wild animals in their traditional habitats.
RBI issues Credit/Investment Concentration Norms
NBFC-BL shall put in place an internal Board approved policy for credit/investment concentration limits for both single borrower/party and single group of borrowers/parties. In case of NBFC UL, to be eligible as a credit risk transfer instrument, guarantees shall be direct, explicit, irrevocable and unconditional.

SEBI launches Facility of voluntary freezing/ blocking of Trading Accounts by Clients
It has been decided that the framework for Trading Members to provide the facility of voluntary freezing/blocking the online access of the trading account to their clients on account of suspicious activities shall be laid down on or before April 01, 2024, by the ISF, under the aegis of stock exchanges, in consultation with SEBI.
