Revised alert list of entities/platforms/websites recognised as unauthorized forex trading platforms
The Alert List also contains names of entities/platforms/websites which appear to be promoting unauthorised entities/ETPs, including through advertisements of such unauthorised entities or claiming to be providing training/advisory services. This list is not exhaustive. An entity not appearing in the list should not be assumed to be authorised by the RBI. The authorisation status of any person/ETP can be ascertained from the list of authorised persons and authorised ETPs.
RBI Occasional Papers Volume 43 released
The Reserve Bank of India on November 28, 2023 has released Volume 43, No.2, 2022 of its Occasional Papers, a research journal containing contributions from its staff. This issue contains three articles and two book reviews.
BMC Cracks Down on Mumbai Shops for Not Displaying Marathi Signboards
Starting from Tuesday, 28th November, 2023, the BMC will take legal action against shops and establishments that fail to display Marathi signboards. In addition to prosecution, a penalty of ₹2000 per staffer per shop will be levied. The civic body has formed teams at the ward level to ensure effective enforcement. Offenders will face registration of an offense, and the BMC will report their violations to the Supreme Court.
Government of Tamil Nadu Bans Nylon Thread Coated With Glass / MANJHA in Tamil Nadu
Order stated that the plastic coated Manjha thread was responsible for causing severe injury and sometimes even death of people, animals and especially birds during the kite flying competitions or otherwise. These plastic coated manjha threads cause severe environmental degradation by choking drainage lines and water bodies. It also causes suffocation of birds and other animals.

Establishment of New Cattle Feed Plant

The CBO aims to stimulate demand for CBG in the City Gas Distribution (CGD) sector, with a focus on mandatory blending in the Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) transport and Piped Natural Gas (PNG) domestic segments.
