India Discusses Trade in Food Products in Bilateral Meeting with Greece

Both sides acknowledged the strategic importance of each other to foster food security. India as one of the largest producer of Agri Food and Brazil as one the largest exporter of food can work towards ensuring food security for the world. Brazilian side highlighted that the bi-lateral trade between the two countries has expanded by 32% to US$15.2 billion in 2022.

The two sides discussed synergies and exploring possibilities in further collaboration and co-ordination in the food processing sector particularly in terms of exchange of goods and human resource. Both sides agreed to continue to work in partnership with each other to facilitate even greater exchange of goods and ideas.

33rd Conference of WOAH Regional Commission for Asia and the Pacific

The inaugural session of the 33rd Conference of the WOAH Regional Commission for Asia and the Pacific at New Delhi. The Government of India has started the Implementation of livestock health and disease control programme using One Health Approach. On the other hand, Government of India has implemented disease control programme for FMD and Brucellosis, PPR and classical swine fever through carpet vaccination of all eligible livestock in  the country.

SEBI directs stock brokers to inform clients their standard Most Important Terms and Conditions (MITC)

The form, nature of communication, documentation and detailed standards for implementation of MITC shall be published on or before January 01, 2024, by the Brokers’ Industry Standards Forum(ISF), under the aegis of stock exchanges, in consultation with SEBI. In the event that the ISF is unable to publish the same, as above, in whole or in part, then SEBI, may, at its discretion, publish standards in respect of the same.

Revised Guidelines on Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Standards and Combating the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) / Obligations of Securities Market Intermediaries under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002

The list of sanctioned individuals/entities has been revised.
