Extension of last dates to receive comments and counter comments on TRAI’s Consultation Paper on ‘Review of Terms and Condition of PMRTS and CMRTS Licenses’
Keeping in view the request received from an industry association for extension of time for submission of comments, it has been decided to extend the last dates for submission of written comments and counter comments up to 21.11.2023 and 05.12.2023 respectively. The comments/ counter comments may be sent to Shri Akhilesh Kumar Trivedi, Advisor (Networks, Spectrum & Licensing), TRAI, preferably in electronic form at advmn@trai.gov.in.
Coal Ministry extends date of Request Submission for Empanelment of Third-Party Testing Agencies till 30th November
The Ministry of Coal has extended the date for submitting the Request for Qualification (RFQ) for empanelment of Third-Party Testing Agencies (TPA) responsible for the collection, preparation, analysis and documentation of coal samples at different Coal Loading Points in accordance with the terms & conditions outlined in this RFQ nationwide.
ESCI guidelines for development of ln-house Dialysis Services at ESIC Hospitals and integration with Pradhan Mantri National Dialysis Program
The Pradhan Mantri National Dialysis Program (PMNDP), launched in 2016 ls a mission to provide dialysis services to the patients under this program. ln-house mode haemodialysis services development is an integral component of this program. Pilot Launch of the Upgraded Electronic Bank Realization Certificate (eBRC) system for self-certification by Exporters
This more streamlined process is based on electronic Inward Remittance Messages (IRMs) to be transmitted directly by banks to DGFT. Based on the IRMs received, the exporters shall self-certify their eBRCs.

Extension in NEET UG 2023 Admission Deadline
All NEET UG 2023 eligible candidates are now informed about the extension of the last date for admission to undergraduate courses to November 15, 2023. November 15, 2023. Moreover, the schedule for the opening of the portal for uploading joined candidates has been extended until November 20, 2023.
Rectification of Deficiencies in Eligibility Certificates for Medical Courses Abroad
It has come to the attention of the MERB that several applications for eligibility certificates are pending due to identified deficiencies in the submitted documents. The NMC has issued a public notice urging applicants to rectify these deficiencies by 19th November, 2023, failing which their applications will be rejected.
Withdrawal of Declaration of ‘Best Before’ Dates for Non-Packaged Sweets
The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has issued directions withdrawing the mandatory declaration of ‘best before’ dates on non-packaged sweets / loose sweet containers / trays. However, FBOs can still declare best before date on non packaged sweets / loose sweet containers / trays on voluntary / optional basis.
Registrations Discontinued for Manufacturers of Fortified Rice Kernel
The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has issued an order to strengthen the quality control mechanism for Fortified Rice (FR), Fortified Rice Kernel (FRK) and Pre-mix for FRK. This order was based upon a review of the existing regulatory mechanism of manufacturing FR and FRK. It was issued on 8th November, 2023.
FBOs Can Choose Periodicity of FSSAI Instant Renewal Licence
Effective from November 8, 2023, Food Business Operators (FBOs) applying for new licenses/registrations or seeking renewal will now have the flexibility to choose the validity period for their licenses. The revised guidelines empower FBOs to select a validity period ranging from 1 to 5 years in their applications.
