The investors and the general public are cautioned against dealing with any unauthorized entities in the IFSC. Any person dealing with entities in the IFSC for any financial services should ensure that such entity is regulated by IFSCA for carrying out permissible activities in the IFSC.

Tax Information Exchange Agreement between Republic of India and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
The agreement, outlined in various articles, is designed to promote the exchange of information relevant to the administration and enforcement of domestic tax laws in both India and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. This exchange encompasses information necessary for determining, assessing, and collecting taxes, as well as recovering and enforcing tax claims, or investigating and prosecuting tax matters. Both competent authorities from the contracting parties are committed to assisting each other in the collection of tax claims.

Facility of Systematic Lump sum Withdrawal (SLW) for NPS Subscribers
It has been proposed to provide the option of phased withdrawal of the lump sum through the Systematic Lump Sum Withdrawal (SLW) facility. The subscribers are allowed to withdraw up to 60% of their pension corpus, through the SLW on a periodical basis viz. monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or annually for a period till 75 years of age as per the choice at the time of their normal exit.
FSSAI to monitor activities of Temporary Food Businesses during Festivities
The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has issued an advisory urging all Food Business Operators (FBOs) carrying out business activities during festivities to obtain FSSAI registration/ licence and comply with hygiene standards. For ease of application processes, the FSSAI has a mobile application called ‘Food Safety Connect’. A user manual to the app has also been provided by FSSAI.

DCI announces Revised BDS Course Counseling Schedule and Data Upload Deadlines
The Dental Council of India (DCI) has instructed dental college authorities to upload the details of students admitted to the BDS course for the academic session 2023-24 on the DCI Website on or before the last date of joining, i.e., 15th November 2023, at 12:00 midnight. Any claims of admission made after 12:00 midnight on November 15, 2023, will be subject to legal actions under the prescribed laws.
