Central Board of Direct Taxes vide circular dated 20th October, 2023, on consideration of difficulties arising to the taxpayers and other stakeholders, has extended due date for filing of report of accountant required to be filed by non-profit entities exempted from paying income tax.
The due date for filing report of accountant for Assessment Year 2023-24 from the specified date under section 44AB is extended to 31St of December, 2023.
