Aadhar authentication mandated for Travel Concession to Patients on ART visiting ART Centres in Delhi

Inclusion of QR Codes on Food Products for Accessibility by Visually Impaired Individuals
FSSAI suggests that one effective means of facilitating easy access to nutritional information for visually impaired individuals is to incorporate Quick Response (QR) codes on product labels. These QR codes should include product details such as ingredients, nutritional information, allergens and their warning, manufacturing date, best before/ expiry/ use by date and contact information for customer inquiries.
PCI extends deadline for completion of Approval and Appeal Process
The last date for completion of the approval process for existing and new institutions is fixed as up to 31st October, 2023. Furthermore, the last date for completion of the appeals and compliance process is fixed as 30th November, 2023. Additionally, the period for counselling shall stand extended up to 31st December, 2023.
Male and Female Construction Workers to be Paid the Same Wages in Delhi
The Labour Department of the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCT) has stated that all employers, contractors, and establishments on a construction site are required to ensure the payment of the notified minimum wages to the workers. The employers, contractors and establishments must also pay the same wages to female workers as they do to male workers for the same work.
Delhi Government reconstitutes Screening Committee under MACP Scheme
A Screening Committee shall be constituted in each department to consider the case for granting financial upgradations under the MACPS. The Screening Committee shall consist of a Chairperson and two Members. The Members of the Committee shall comprise officers holding posts that are at least one level above the level at which the MACP is to be considered and not below the rank of Under Secretary or equivalent in the Government.
