ESIC directions for ensuring availability and functionality of medical equipment in all ESIC Institutions

All Heads of ESIC Institutions to evaluate the requirement and take necessary action for procurement of requisite equipment as per demand of hospital/institute as per ESIC norms subject to adherence of all procurement guidelines of Government of India with concurrence of local finance and accounts so as to minimize referral cases and for holistic/comprehensive improvement of medical facilities.

Review of Regulatory Framework for IDF-NBFCs

In order to enable IDF-NBFCs to play a greater role in the financing of the infrastructure sector and to harmonise the regulations governing financing of infrastructure sector by the NBFCs, a review of the guidelines applicable to IDF-NBFCs has been undertaken, in consultation with the Government of India.

Guidelines on Management of Pyro-metallurgical Slags (Copper Smelters)

Pyro-metallurgical slags are classified as “High Volume Low Effect Waste” (HVLE waste) under the Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016. The management of these waste types will be governed by separate guidelines issued by the Central Pollution Control Board.
