The Ministry has revised the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 for the state of Assam. It now has granted recognition to Assam Agricultural University in respect of College of Veterinary Science, Guwahati and Lakhimpur College of Veterinary Science, Assam.

Multi-State Co-operative Societies (Amendment) Act, 2023
Any co-operative society may, by a resolution passed by majority of not less than two-thirds of the members present and voting at a general meeting of such society, decide to merge into an existing multi-State co-operative society.
