The The Kozhikode Corporation, Kerala vide press release dated 1st August 2023 has launched ‘Aakri’ application for management of biomedical waste. The Corporation has signed MoU with A for Merchantiles Pvt Ltd company to collect biomedical waste from users of the applications.
The users can apply through the application for collection of biomedical waste from their residence/offices and disposal of the same at lower cost. The application can be downloaded from playstore.
