Haryana Labour Welfare Board increases contribution limit for the Labour Welfare Fund

The Haryana Labour Welfare Board recently issued a significant notification on June 27,
2023, announcing an increase in the contribution limit for the Labour Welfare Fund under the
provisions of the Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1965.

According to the notification, every employee is now required to contribute a monthly amount equivalent to 0.2% of their salary, wages, or any remuneration. Additionally, each employer in respect of each such employee shall contribute to fund every month, twice the amount contributed by such employee.

The employee contribution shall be subject to a revised limit of Rs. 31/-.
