Bureau of Indian Standards on 21 June, 2023 has notified revised Indian standards for the following goods and articles:

- Specification for Optical Bevel Protractors
- Guide for Selection of Type and Page Layout in Textbooks
- Guide for Illustrations in Books
- Specification for Agar, Microbiological Grade
- Soluble Starch, Microbiological Grade
- Gelatin, Microbiological Grade
- Malt Extract, Microbiological Grade
- Code for Preparation of Escherichia coli Diagnostic Sera
- Code for Preparation of Vibrio cholerae Diagnostic Sera
- Optics and Photonics — Lasers and Laser-Related Equipment — Test Methods for Laser Beam Power, Energy and Temporal Characteristics.
The revised standards shall come into force on 20 July, 2023.
