The recent notification from the Government of Jharkhand introduces special procedures that allow non-compliant taxpayers to rectify their situation. These taxpayers now have the opportunity to follow the specified procedures outlined in the notification to have their assessment orders deemed withdrawn. This provision provides a fresh start for those who failed to meet the original deadline, allowing them to regularize their tax affairs.

By issuing this notification, the government aims to encourage voluntary compliance and participation in the tax system. The notification lays out clear guidelines on the steps to be followed by non-compliant taxpayers. This simplifies the process and ensures a transparent and consistent approach to resolving non-compliance issues.
