Draft amendment to the Tamil Nadu Legal Metrology (Enforcement) Rules, 2011
The amendment has provided revised rates for obtaining and renewing the license for manufacturers, repairers and dealers of weights and measures. The amendment has also revised certain standards for manufacture of weights and measures.
RBI has amended Master Direction – Risk Management and Inter-Bank Dealings to revise compliances governing Non-deliverable derivative contracts (NDDCs)
The newly inserted direction allows banks with an Authorized Dealer Category-I license and operating IBUs to offer NDDCs involving INR to resident non-retail users from their branches in India. This provision is subject to compliance with the guidelines specified in the revised direction mentioned earlier. The transactions in this case must be cash-settled in INR.
Andhra Pradesh Milk Procurement (Protection of Farmers) and Enforcement of Safety of Milk Standards Act, 2023
The object of the act is to regulate the transactions at the milk procurement centres, enforce safety standards for the produce and protect interests of dairy farmers and the consumers. The government decided to enforce an Act to bring all the rules under one umbrella to ensure effective enforcement of law and delegate power to seize milk analysers in case of violations.
ESIC clarification regarding Implementation of Aadhaar Seeding of Insured Persons using IP portal or through their respective employer using Employer portal
An online provision for seeding and authentication of Aadhaar has been developed and deployed in the online System whereby existing employees can seed Aadhaar number for self and their family members on voluntary basis after verification of OTP received on mobile from UIDAI.
