PCI clarifies on the Appeal Process for New Institutions

The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) has issued a clarification on the appeal process for new institutions whose applications were rejected. This clarification was issued on 29th March, 2023.

It may be recalled that decisions of various Executive Councils (ECs) have already been conveyed to respective institutions. If the EC has rejected any application, the institution can prefer an appeal and submit compliance or representation as follows:

  • On the institutions dashboard
  • By email to pci.appeal@gmail.com

The PCI will not entertain the following:

  • Hard copies
  • Compliances received after 7th April, 2023

Moreover, the compliances should be furnished only in the prescribed format. In addition, the supporting documents or documentary evidence shall be in English or Hindi. The translated copy, if any, shall be duly attested by the Principal and shall be legible.
