The Ministry of Power has published the Draft Electricity (Rights of Consumers) Amendment Rules, 2023. This draft was issued on 24th March, 2023.
The ministry invites comments from the public on the draft amendment rules. The comments may be furnished to the ministry until 14th April, 2023. They shall be emailed at debranjan.chattopadhyay@nic.in
The amendment rules seek to incorporate modifications relating to smart meters.
