FSSAI modifies its list of accredited NABL labs
The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India has modified its list of laboratories accredited by the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL). These laboratories are notified for the purposes of carrying out analysis of food samples taken in accordance with the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006.

The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) has notified the National Green Tribunal (Practices and Procedure) Amendment Rules, 2023. These amendment rules were notified on 17th March, 2023 and shall come into force from 24th March, 2023.
MNRE modifies its Guidelines for enlistment of ALMMs
These modified guidelines provide that the requirement of inspection may be dispensed in certain specified circumstances. Additionally, both the brand owner and the OEM must be enlisted in ALMM.

UGC issues notice on Closure of CHM Portal
To streamline the stakeholder grievance redressal mechanism, UGC has developed a single window system “UGC e-Samadhaan: A step forward: Service to Stakeholders”. This platform ensures a time-bound mechanism for redressal of stakeholder grievances. All grievances pending in the CHM portal will be resolved within a stipulated time.

Insecticides (Second Amendment) Rules, 2023
The amendment mandates that the QR Code shall be placed on retail pack of insecticides (Primary or Secondary pack as the case may be) at suitable place where on scanning the QR code by scanning equipment like mobile phone, a web link or link for opening the URL of the Manufacturing company will appear, which on pressing or clicking, will take the user to the entire unique information of label and leaflet.
