BIS notifies Reverse Osmosis Based Point of Use Water Treatment System for Drinking Purposes- Specification (First Revision)
This standard was notified on 15th March, 2023. It may be recalled that the earlier standard was titled, ‘IS 16240 : 2015 Reverse Osmosis (RO) Based Point-of-Use (PoU) Water Treatment System — Specification’ . This previous standard will be withdrawn on 15th December, 2023.
Central Warehousing Corporation (Amendment) Rules, 2023
As per the amendment rules, the Board shall cause the financial statements of the Corporation to be balanced on 31st March in each year and such financial statements shall be prepared in the manner specified under the Companies Act, 2013.
Polyurethanes (Quality Control) Amendment Order, 2023
The Amendment Order extends the date of implementation of the the Polyurethanes (Quality Control) Order, 2021 to 19th March, 2024.
UGC notifies List of Category-I HEIs entitled to offer Open and Distance Learning (ODL)
Category-I HEIs that were willing to offer programmes under ODL from Jan-Feb 2023 academic session had to submit information to UGC along with affidavits for ensuring compliance. Based on the information furnished, the UGC has notified the list of Category-I HEIs along with the programmes found in compliance with the said regulations.
PCI declares Approved Courses of Study and Examinations
These declarations are based on the resolutions passed in the 115th Central Council meeting of the Pharmacy Council of India held on 9th May,2022 and 10th May, 2022 at Mysuru and the emergency special 116th Central Council meeting of the Pharmacy Council of India held on 29th July, 2022.
Extension of due date for submission of online proposals for the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana
The closing date for submission of online proposals for the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana is hereby extended up to 17.00 hrs of 23 March 2023.
Online portal for filling up details of candidates who took admission in PG super specialty courses shall be reopened
Portal shall also be open for broad specialty courses for those colleges which could not fill up the admission data previously due to technical reasons.
Approval granted for pharmacy institutions for academic session 2022-2023 is extended till 2023-2024
The PCI shall conduct inspection of documents regarding introduction of new courses and raising seats for admission. If statutory documents are not complete, seven days time will be given to submit documents failing which the application shall be rejected.
Vadodara airport notified as a Customs airports
The notification No. 61/94-Customs (N.T.) dated the 21st November, 1994 is amended to clarify that Vadodara airport is notified as Customs airports for the purpose of Unloading of baggage and loading of baggage.
