SEBI had placed a Consultation Paper on Holding of Sponsor in Real Estate Investment Trust (REITs) and Infrastructure Investment Trust (InvITs) on its website on February 23, 2023, seeking public comments by March 08, 2023. On 08 March, 2023, SEBI announced through circular that it has been decided to extend the timeline for submission of comments to March 15, 2023.
