PCI issues Circular on Pharma Anveshan: 2023

The PCI has declared the birth anniversary of Prof. Mahadeva Lal Shroff, i.e. 6th of March, as National Pharmacy Education Day. Through the commemoration, PCI seeks to recognise his contribution in establishing Pharmacy Education in India. Hence, PCI will be celebrating Prof M. L Shroff’s 121st Birth Anniversary, 6th March 2023 as Pharma Anveshan-2023 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.

UGC notifies Draft Guidelines and Curriculum Framework for Environment Education at Undergraduate level

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has notified Draft Guidelines and Curriculum Framework for Environment Education at Undergraduate level. The Framework was notified in February, 2023. The present document is an outcome of the UGC’s initiative to implement the National Education Policy, 2020 which has emphasised the need to formulate guidelines and curriculum framework for environmental education.

ESIC issues Corrigendum on Not of Standard Quality drug batch of item No. 1962

The stakeholders are now informed that a Corrigendum has been received from Central Drugs Laboratory Kolkata in respect of the Batch No. of the item declared NSQ on 22.12.2022. In the notice dated 27th January, 2023 the batch number of the concerned NSQ drug was mentioned as TTQ2P5, however the batch number is TTQ2P3.

TRAI releases consultation paper on the ‘Introduction of Digital Connectivity Infrastructure Provider Authorization under Unified License’

The purpose of this Consultation Paper (CP) on ‘Introduction of Digital Connectivity Infrastructure Provider Authorization under Unified License (UL)’ is to seek views of stakeholders on the proposed DCIP authorization under Unified License. The Consultation Paper has been placed on TRAl’s website www.trai.gov.in. Written comments on the Consultation Paper are invited from the stakeholders by 09th March, 2023 and counter-comments, if any, by 23rd March, 2023.

Guidelines for International Arrivals in supersession of guidelines issued on the subject on 29th December 2022

All travellers should preferably be fully vaccinated as per the approved primary schedule of vaccination against COVID 19 in their Country. Any passenger having symptoms of COVID-19 during travel shall be isolated as per standard protocol i.e. the said passenger should be wearing mask, isolated and segregated from other passengers in flight/travel and shifted to an isolation facility subsequently for follow up treatment.
